Following graduation from the University of Maine at Orono, she was employed as a digital artist for several publishing companies. In 2005, she was the resident artist for Musee de la Grande Vigne in Dinan, Brittany, France and returned in 2019 to join with other resident artists from around the world for the historic designation of the museum. In 2021, Diane was chosen to be Baxter State Park’s Visiting Artist. She is a Signature Member of the New England Watercolor Society and International Plein Air Painters, teaches watercolor classes, and gives painting demonstrations.
