Location: The Maine Art Gallery Materials: $15 paid directly to instructor upon arrival, bring cash or check. Instructor provides all materials. Description: This immersive experience invites participants of all skill levels to explore the beauty of Maine’s diverse birdlife through drawing and painting. Under Kat’s expert guidance, you’ll receive all necessary materials, including high-quality drawing paper, paints, brushes, and reference images. Engage in hands-on learning as you capture the intricate details of feathers and understand the nuances of color and light. This workshop not only enhances your artistic skills but also connects you with fellow bird lovers and artists in a supportive environment. Don’t miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity and create beautiful artwork inspired by Maine’s avian wonders! Please bring a packed lunch. About the Instructor: Kat Logan, a native Mainer and Schoodic Cove instructor, now lives in Wiscasset. She spends her time as a full-time professional artist and instructor and also as a professional musician. She has a studio in Bath and teaches both in New England and internationally. You can find her working at her studio, where she predominately paints in oils and watercolors, painting the contents of her heart.
