Letting Loose with Tissue & Glue

DATE & TIME: August 18, 10am - 2pm SIGN UP DEADLINE: JULY 31 Instructor: Debra Arter COST: Members $92 Non members $99 Capacity: 12 Skill level: Any. Adults only. Location: The Maine Art Gallery Materials: $8 paid directly to instructor upon arrival. Bring cash or check. Instructor will provide materials. All other supplies, including lemonade, will be provided. Bring a packed lunch. Description: Creative workshop for all abilities. Let Debra show you the expressive possibilities inherent in tissue paper collage. Each participant will make at least three different collages using tissue and decorative napkins as well as vintage sparkle tissue. Participants are invited to bring any imagery they wish to incorporate into their collage as well as a pair of scissors. About the Instructor: Debra Arter, of Damariscotta, has been a signature member of the National Collage Society for many years. Her work has appeared in "Somerset Studio" magazine, poetry journals, Dana Farber Holiday cards and the official Union Fair Poster. She holds a BA and MFA in Fine Arts and has taught adults for over 25 years.
